Kayne West is officially mental. Again. On January 5th he proclaimed that he had started a new philanthropic-themed company named “DONDA”, which he vaguely claimed would “want to help simplify and aesthetically improve everything we see hear, touch, taste and feel”, apparently Kayne wishes to put “creatives in a room together with like minds that are all waaaay doper than me”, are you sure “dope” isn’t what you’ve been inhaling Kayne? If he had, then he probably wouldn’t have been bothered to keep within the 140-character limit, or decide to have himself a little spamming session on twitter for the next two hours.

This new company is said to be comprised of 22 divisions employing “a team of architects, graphic designers, directors, musicians, producers, AnRs, writers, a publicist, social media experts, app guys, managers, car designers, clothing designers, DJs, video game designers, publishers, tech guys, lawyers, bankers, a nutritionist, doctors, scientist, teachers…” I myself have no idea what the bloody hell an “AnR” is, and I don’t know why he has an ellipsis after “teachers”, perhaps he doesn’t know what they are?

Kayne also suggested that DONDA could help the education system in the US; including summer schools…seriously Kayne if you can’t even spell curriculum right I don’t really think you should be considering changing them yourself.

Not only this, but Kayne seems to condemn those school’s policies on not using iPhones to google answers. He suggests that students should be allowed to “use search engines to do test like the real WORLD!!!” Oh yeah, that same real world that he obviously lives in, being a ludicrously famous rapper, surrounded by media hysteria and immersed in blatant lunacy by the looks of it, saying that the children should have the same amount of testing they would normally receive in a year but in one day, and wait especially for this gem “but they have to get everything perfect..”

What is this guy on?

Whatever it is, I think I want some, then maybe I could actually get through school. For the rest of the two-hour barrage he bangs on about making a difference, having the tenacity to comment on Wall Street and the London riots and also “emotional IQs”, the emotion I feel here is pretty disturbed. There’s one word for people like Kayne West, sinister.

Thank you Harriett.
