Dr. Cameron + Big Screen = High Five Part 3

Dr. Cameron + Big Screen = High Five Part 3

Okay, I know it’s a long ways away, but I haven’t talked about Jennifer Morrison (Dr. Cameron on House) whom I adore, in a really really long time. Here is an update.

Speaking of House M.D., tonight was a special night for the show, as Jennifer Morrison and Jesse Spencer (Robert Chase) reprised their roles as the diagnostic team. This episode also guest starred James Earl Jones. How righteous can it get? Best Monday in a while.

And JM is working on a movie titled “Warrior,” about mixed martial arts. But it gets even better. She will be starring in the movie alongside Nick Nolte!! And also wrestler Kurt Angle will appear in it. Which may or may not be a good thing, we’ll just have to see.

Personally, I’m not an Angle Fan. “Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Gold Medal Blah Blah Blah I’ll twist your ankle Flippin BLAH!” (That’s a Team 3-D Reference)

For all you Pittsburghers out there, this film is being shot in the Steel City. Hence, the appearance of Kurt Angle, who is a native to P-burgh.

The movie is set to be released in 2010, but in more recent news it is rumored that Jenny Morrison is leaving house in Nov. 2009. This is a sour punch for me. In case it isn’t obvious JM is my favorite character and actor on House, and she will be missed. No joke. This really sucks.

QATFYG: Will you miss Jennifer Morrison on House?

  1. The movie that you mentioned was filmed early this year and it's now in post-porduction. JMO departure to House is according to the TPTB of the show only due to "artistic motive", they just get the rid of her! I hope to see her soon in something else where she'll be more appriciate for her big talent!

  2. thank you vicky. have you or anyone else been able to score a release date?
the last i heard it was december 2010, but lately I have not been able to find a reprinting of that source.

And yes, I never suspected her departure was anything more than an artisic motive. However, as is my favorite character, I will still miss her.

  3. also, as I mentioned in the first Dr. Cameron post....I think Jennifer Morrison has so much talent and ability that she can't be contained on only one show. I think she can go really far on the big screen with features....but she'll always be dr. cameron in her pink scrubs to me.

  4. Personally I'm so angry with House's producers, they basically didn't use Mrs Morrison for 2 years, and when Cameron had some scene the storyline they give to her were stupid and bad written, they had absolutly no care for her character, so now they fire her, but she'll be anyway under contract with Fox so she can't basically looking for something else! I think this is NOT a fair play!Luckly I was so tired of watching House, it's just become a parody of itself at this point and that this give me the perfect excuse to stop watching!
As for Warrior I just know that it'll be out in late 2010 and it's now in post-production!
I really hope to see Mrs Morrison in something bigger and cleaver than HOuse soon enough! She sure will be miss!

  5. Anon,
you are 100 percent correct. they were a lot of lousy things going on with the producers and Jenny M got the short end....(u 2 Jesse Spencer).

Let's hope this move will be an opportunity and not a misfortune. (misfortune no chance :)
